Road Closed: Nottingham Road, Melton Mowbray

Service Affected: 19  

As part of the ongoing MMDR project, the road will be closed for construction works. For the duration of the closure, the 19 service will operate as followed and a temporary timetable in place. 

From Melton Mowbray - it will operate via Scalford Road, onto Melton Road, continue on Melton Road onto King Street, Scalford, continue on King Street onto Melton Road, left onto Clawson Lane, continue on Clawson Lane to rejoin the A606 just north of Ab Kettleby, then back on normal route to Nether Broughton. 

From Nottingham - it will operate the reverse of the above. 

Please note:
- The Cattle Market, Staveley Road, Gladstone Avenue, Brampton Road, Potter Hill, Ab Kettleby South Lodge and Sugar Loaf.
- Passengers who normally board and alight on this section, should use the stops on Scalford Road to pick up the 19 service. 
- Passengers who normally travel to/from Ab Kettleby, are advised to use the Fox Connect service instead.

LC4 Fleckney - Foxton - Market HarboroughDate: Monday 14th July 2025

Following a review of the service, we will be making changes to the timetable to improve reliability. 

We will also be making slight adjustments to the route, in that it will no longer turn in the Hospital grounds. From this date, buses will continue past the Hospital and turn down Peter Callis Way to the roundabout, where it do a full circle and head back out via Peter Callis Way, to enable the bus to serve the bus stop outside of the Hospital.

Following a service review, the 6 service will be withdrawn due to low passenger usage.

Leighton-Linslade Services

We are pleased to announce, we have been awarded the contract to operate Leighton's Town Bus Services from Sunday 1st June 2025. 

The new timetables, shaped by resident feedback and input from key local groups and organisations, along with the 3 Horizon workshop - A group exercise to explore how buses can best serve the town, will maintain bus services in Leighton Buzzard and Linslade. 

Peak-time journeys to and from Leighton Buzzard Railway Station will be enhanced, providing better connectivity for commuters. Additionally, there will be improve links with faster trains to London, making travel more convenient. 

School transport connections will be strengthened, ensuring a more reliable service for pupils. Journey times will be adjusted to be more realistic, helping to improve punctuality and reliability across the network. Evening and Sunday services will be retained, while a later Saturday evening departure has been introduced in response to community requests. 

Travel to Grovebury Road Retail Park will have improved connections on Sundays, to support shoppers and workers alike. 



L1 Leighton Buzzard & Grovebury Circular
• The service will operate Monday to Saturday and continue to serve Kestrel Way and Theedway.
• To improve the L1, there are two additional direct journeys from Sandhills in the morning, and two later journeys via the L3 at 21:25 and 22:15.
• The L1 will serve the High Street on non-market days and West Street on Market Days and will serve the Library and Market Square stops on Lake Street.
L1, L2, L4 are all timed to arrive at West Street prior to the L5 departing for Cedars Upper in one direction and Vandyke Upper/Gilbert Inglefield in the opposite direction. Connections are not guaranteed.

L2 Leighton Buzzard - Clipstone Park
• The service will operate Monday to Saturday and continue to serve East Leighton.
• As requested, there are earlier departure from Clipstone Park (06:17am) on the L2, and then one additional journey in the evening on the L3.
• The L2 will serve the High Street on non-market days and West Street on Market Days, and will serve the Library and Market Square stops on Lake Street
L1, L2, L4 are all timed to arrive at West Street prior to the L5 departing for Cedars Upper in one direction and Vandyke Upper/Gilbert Inglefield in the opposite direction. Connections are not guaranteed.

L3 & L6 Leighton Buzzard, Clipstone Park, Sandhills & Grovebury Road Retail Park
• The L3 service operates the evening journeys Monday to Saturday. The L6 service operates on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
• The L3 serves Clipstone Park, Apex Park and Sandhills, serving the town and Railway Station. The L6 serves Clipstone Park, Apex Park and Sandhills, also serving Grovebury Road Retail Park.
• The L3 will serve the High Street on non-market days and West Street on Market Days, and will serve the Library and Market Square stops on Lake Street

L4 Leighton Buzzard - Apex Park
• The L4 service operates Monday to Saturday, serving Apex Park, Trent Way and (Richmond Road on off peak journeys)
• The L4 will serve the High Street on non-market days and West Street on Market Days, and will serve the Library and Market Square stops on Lake Street
L1, L2, L4 are all timed to arrive at West Street prior to the L5 departing for Cedars Upper in one direction and Vandyke Upper/Gilbert Inglefield in the opposite direction. Connections are not guaranteed.
• The first departure from West Street departs in time to arrive for the Brooklands Middle School, breakfast club at 07:30, and will also operate after School finishing times.

L5 Linslade - Meadway
• The L5 service will operate Monday to Saturday and will serve Linslade and Vandyke.
• The L5 will continue to serve the High Street on non-market days and West Street on Market Days.
• The L5 is timed in the afternoon to arrive after the schools have finished at Cedars Upper, Vandyke Upper, and Gilbert Inglefield.

Leicestershire Service Changes

Following retendering by Leicestershire County Council there will changes to the Leicestershire network from Monday 2nd June 2025. 

Please note that these changes have been instigated by Leicestershire County Council. Centrebus simply operate the services on behalf of the County Council. The timetable and route will change, with the service diverting via the Gates Garden Centre Car Park to provide a more convenient pick up and drop.

We will be making changes to the timetable, so that all journeys will operate the full length of Cropston (Station Road) and the Reservoir.

Market Harborough Changes

Following a network review by Leicestershire County Council there will changes to the Harborough network from Monday 2nd June 2025. 

The changes set out in the Market Harborough Network Review aims to improve access to Market Harborough Town, simplify routes and support the commercial bus network.

• Four new town centre routes, improving access to the town centre seven days a week.
• New one year pilot shopping service to Corby operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays
• Five NEW FoxConnect zones covering areas of Market Harborough. This service will connect key destinations such as Thurmaston Shopping Centre, Lutterworth and Uppingham.
• Improved access to essential services, including St Lukes Hospital, Market Harborough Train Station, and surrounding schools and colleges.


LC4 Fleckney - Foxton - Market Harborough
We will be making changes to the timetable to improve reliability issues. 
• 06:25 trip from Fleckney will be withdrawn. 
• 07:55 trip from Fleckney will be retimed to 07:25. This means that Robert Smyth Students will now arrive at 08:05 instead of 08:27. 
• 07:10 trip from Market Harborough will be retimed to 06:30. 
• 08:40 trip from Market Harborough will be retimed to 08:35. 
• Any trips no mentioned above, will remain unchanged.

From this date, there will be four new circular bus routes (HC1, HC2, HC3 and HC4) to and from Harborough town centre, with stops at the Railway Station. These replace services 30, 33A/B/C and have been designed to improve access to the town centre seven days a week. There will also be trial evening journeys on Fridays and Saturdays. The service will be called ‘Harborough Connect’.

30 Market Harborough - Southern Estate
Following end of contract, the service will be replaced with a new HC4 service (see below)


HC1 Market Harborough - Little Bowden

• The HC1 service will operate Monday to Sunday. 
• Extra evening journeys operating Friday and Saturdays. 
• It will operate from the Market Hall via the South Estate, Little Bowden, Market Harborough Rail Station, Coleridge Way and back to the Market Hall. The route is convenient for Elizabeth Place.

HC2 Market Harborough - Great Bowden
• The HC2 service will operate Monday to Sunday.
• Extra evening journeys operating Friday and Saturdays. 
• It will operate from the Market Hall via the Rail Station, St Luke's Hospital, Robert Smyth Academy, and back to the Market Hall. Route is also convenient for Robert Smyth Academy and St Lukes Hospital.

HC3 Market Harborough - Wellington Place
• The HC3 service will operate Monday to Sunday. 
• Extra evening journeys operating Friday and Saturdays.
• It will operate from the Market Hall via the Rail Station, St Luke's Hospital, Wellington Place, Welland Park Academy, back to Market Hall. Route is also convenient for St Lukes Hospital, Welland Park and Welland Park Academy.

HC4 Market Harborough - Southern Estate
• The HC4 service will operate Monday to Sunday. 
• Extra evening journeys operating Friday and Saturdays.
• School timed journeys to and from Welland Park Academy. 
• It will operate from the Market Hall via Harborough Leisure Centre, Southern Estate (Stuart Road), Farndon Fields, Southern Estate (Cromwell Crescent), Welland Park Academy, back to Market Hall. Route is also convenient for Leisure Centre, Welland Park and Welland Park Academy.
