PB1 Potters Bar Town Service

Following retendering by Hertfordshire County Council, we are pleased to announce, we will be operating the PB1 service from Sunday 30th August 2026. 

The service will operate a half-hourly service Monday to Saturday.

Stoughton Road, OadbyDate: Monday 24th August to Friday 18th September 2026

Road Closed: Stoughton Road, Oadby
Date: Monday 24th August to Friday 18th September 2026
Service affected: 40S

Stoughton Road will be closed between A6 Harborough Road and New Street. For the duration of the closure, the 40S will operate as follow:

To Hamilton - it will operate normal route through The Parade to the A6, but instead of crossing over onto Stoughton Road, it will divert right onto A6 Harborough Road and then turn left onto New Street, back on its normal route. 

To Beaumont Centre - is not affected and will operate normal route. 

Bus stops not served: Beaumont Street stop on Stoughton Road.
