Hospital Hopper – Improved timetable from 13 July

From 13 July, a new Hospital Hopper timetable will launch, bringing a range of improvements to better support patients and visitors coming to our sites. Developed in partnership with Centrebus, the updated timetable has been carefully optimised to enhance reliability, improve journey times, and strengthen key connections across the network.

We are also pleased that the service will now extend to Ashton Green, improving access for local communities and colleagues. This has been made possible with the valued support of Leicester City Council, highlighting the importance of strong partnership working in delivering more accessible and sustainable travel options.

24/24A Leicester - Barrow-upon-SoarDate: 20th July to 2nd August 2026

Services 24 & 24A will be on diversion from the 20th July to 2nd August due to a road closure on Main Street in Cossington. Bus stops on Main Street in Cossington, Cossington Road, and Brook Street will not be served during the closure. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Friary Lane will be closed between 11am and 2pm. The following LC9 journeys will be affected. 

- 11:05 trip from Grantham to Nottingham will terminate at Broadmarsh Bus Station. 
- 13:10 trip from Bottesford to Grantham will terminate at Broadmarsh Bus Station. 
- 12:15 from Nottingham to Bottesford will start at Broadmarsh Bus Station. 
- 14:04 from Nottingham to Grantham will start at Broadmarsh Bus Station. 

All other journeys will operate as expected.
