From 5th September, there will be no commercial Centrebus Service operating between Bottesford and Grantham at school times. The 6 will be replaced with a school only service & renumbered to operate as service K3. The X6A and 6B will be renumbered to K1, K2 and will operate as follows;
The service will not be registered as a local bus service, it will operate as a closed service, so individual fares will not be available to purchase on the bus and students will need to hold a Centrebus Academic Year or Term ticket.
We will have a Text Messaging service in place for parents whose children travel on the K1, K2 & K3 services from September. If there is any disruption or problem on route, the Operations Manager will send a text message notifying parents of the issue.
