Road Closed: Cossington Lane, Rothley​

The 22A will operate as followed. 

From Leicester​ - it will operate as normal from Leicester to Birstall (A46/A6 roundabout), but instead of continuing over the A46 bridge onto A6 Loughborough Road, it will take the 3rd exit onto Wanlip slip road to join A46 towards Syston. As you approach the Hobby Horse roundabout, keep left and stay on A46 (northbound), then take 1st exit off A46 (signposted A607 Melton Mowbray and < Cossington, East Goscote) to Cossington Interchange roundabout, take 1st exit onto Syston Road, then right onto Main Street, Cossington, back on its normal line of route to Barrow. 

From Barrow​ - will not be affected and will operate the normal line of route. 

The 27 will operate as followed. 

Morning trip - will operate as normal from Thurmaston through Syston, but instead of operating on A607 to Cossington, you will take the slip road to join A46. Continue on A46 to Hobby Horse roundabout, where you will take 3rd exit on to A46 (southbound), then take Birstall slip road to A6 roundabout, take 3rd exit onto the A6, turn left onto Loughborough (sign posted Rothley/Cossington), continue on Loughborough Road, rejoining the normal line of route at the Syston Road/Loughborough Road junction in Rothley (Miller & Carter Rothley). 

Afternoon trip - will operate as normal through Mountsorrel, but instead of continuing on Loughborough Road into Rothley, it will divert after the Hilltop Garage on Loughborough Road (Mountsorrel) - at the roundabout (just past Hilltop Garage) you need to take 2nd exit onto Leicester Road to the roundabout, where you need to take the slip road onto the A6. Continue on A6 to Wanlip/Birstall roundabout on the A6, turn left onto Wanlip slip road to join A46 towards Syston, where you will rejoin normal line of route at Fosse Way, Syston.
