Ethel Road, LeicesterDate: Monday 3rd to Monday 17th November 2025

Road Closed: Ethel Road, Leicester
Date: Monday 3rd to Monday 17th November 2025
Service affected: 22, 22A, 22E

Due to a weekday closure on Ethel Road, between Wakerley Road and Headland Road, the 22's will be on the following diversion.

From Evington - The 22/22A/22E services will operate as normal from Downing Down to Main Street, but instead of turning right onto Headland Road, it will continue onto Evington Lane to Wakerley Road, right onto Wakerley Road, left onto Ethel Road, back on its normal line of route to City Centre. 

From City Centre - will operate the reverse of the above. 

Bus Stops missed: Hawthorne Drive, Hextall Road, Clovelly Road.

Service affected: 22, 22A, 22E

Due to a weekend closure on Evington Road, between East Park Road and Staveley Road, the 22's will be on diversion on Saturday 1st, Sunday 2nd, Saturday 8th, and Sunday 9th November (Weekdays not affected). 

From Evington - The 22/22A/22E services will operate as normal from Downing Down to Evington Drive, but instead of continuing onto Evington road, it will divert right onto Staveley Road to Chesterfield Road, left onto Chesterfield Road, left onto East Park Road, right onto Evington Road, back on its normal line of route to the City Centre. 

From City Centre - The 22/22A/22E services will operate as normal to Evington Road, but instead of continuing onto Evington Drive, they will divert left onto East Park Road, right onto Chesterfield Road, and onto Ethel Road, back on its normal line of route to Downing Drive. 

Bus Stops missed: Hawthorne Drive, Hextall Road, Clovelly Road.
