A warm welcome to Centrebus
We are a privately owned bus company providing local services in the northern Home Counties, across the East Midlands, and in Yorkshire. In some areas we partner with other companies to deliver a more integrated and sustainable network for our customers.
2011 marked our ten year anniversary, and our expansion and development is continuing. In 2010 we opened new depots employing more than 100 people at Elland near Halifax and in Central Leeds. In May we took on the local bus services of West End Travel in Melton Mowbray, and are integrated these into the Centrebus network. We have also recently announced an exciting new joint venture with Wellglade, owners of Trent Barton, to integrate their Buxton depot into our Bowers operation, under a new brand "High Peak". In July 2011, Kimes Buses, running a network of services in Lincolnshire and Rutland, became part of the Centrebus group. And in October we took over the former routes of Veolia Transport in East Leicestershire and Rutland.

Employment with Centrebus
The majority of our workforce are bus drivers. They are the key interface with our customers and vital in keeping our services running. Employment opportunities for bus drivers regularly come up, so if you are interested in working with us, you can either fill out the online application, or download the form in pdf format and take it to your local depot. Please note we are only currently recruiting experienced bus drivers.
Opportunities for other positions arise less frequently, and are advertised locally in the relevent area. If you are interested in joining us in our engineering, cleaning or admin teams you will need to apply to a specific advertised post, and follow the applications requirements outlined in the advert.
