| Student Ticketing with CentrebusThis page gives information on special student ticketing offers which are operating on some of our services. NUS Extra or Graduate Extra
If you hold an NUS Extra or Graduate Extra card, you can get 15% off standard single and return fares on our buses. Simply show your Extra card to the bus driver when you board the bus.
To qualify for an "NUS Extra" card, you need to be a student and pay the £11 annual membership fee. For more information on how to get an NUS Extra card visit www.nus.org.uk/NUS-Extra. "Graduate Extra" is for recent graduates, is valid for two years, and costs £30. Visit www.nus.org.uk/en/graduate-extra for more information on this. If you attend the Leeds Metropolitan University, you can get discount travel on our 92, 93 and 94 buses which connect the key Halls with the University. Click HERE for a map of these routes. A student/staff day ticket gives you unlimited travel on these services (but not other Centrebus services) and costs just £2.50. You need to show your LMU ID card / Carnegie Card to qualify. We also have a £10 weekly ticket which is available on these and all our other services within "the Green zone". Alternatively, you can buy a term or annual ticket, valid on all Centrebus services within Leeds ("the Green zone"), and pay using or debit/credit card or Paypal. Buy your ticket here. If you attend North Herts College, you can buy a day ticket on the bus for travel to Stevenage or Hitchin, for just £1. You need to show you NHC ID card and a valid Hertfordshire Savercard to qualify for this great offer.
Stockport College Offer
If you attend Stockport College, you can get 50% off Day Returns and Weekly tickets on the 392/393 upon presentation of a valid Stockport College ID card. University of Bedfordshire Student Offer
Centrebus runs a special bus service (the 901) for the University, linking Luton Town Centre, International House and Putteridgebury Campus, and all students can use this service.
We also offer travel concessions for students holding a UoB ID card on our local bus network - just show your ID card to the driver when you board. WIthin Luton/Dunstable fares zone - a flat fare of £1 single or £4 for a weekly ticket applies. Journeys to Luton from outside the zone - 30% off single, return and weekly tickets. To get 15% off our standard single and return bus fares, you can join our club. Centrebus Travel Club costs £10 for one year's membership. In return, we'll send you a discount card which you can use to claim your discount when you show it to the bus driver, and will also entitle you to other special offers from time to time.
