Frequent, daily service, for North West Luton
Our flagship route 10 just keeps getting better. It provides a regular and dependable link connecting the busy housing area of Marsh Farm, Limbury and the local shops at Watermead Road, St Margarets Avenue, the Biscot Road, Luton Rail Station, and the Town Centre and Arndale shopping area. Customer numbers in 2010 were the best ever, so thank you for choosing us.

Frequent daily service
Did you know that service 10 runs 7 days a week? Did you know that evening departures from the Town Centre run until 11pm (service 10A)? Did you know that during the day, buses run every 10 minutes? Service 10 is a frequent service, specifically designed to meet your travel needs, whilst offering great value for money.
And for detailed timetables, (including information on our evening services 27 and 10A) visit the "Timetables" page.
We would also like to remind customers that 'ARRIVA' day tickets and returns will not be accepted on these services.
At a price you're happy to pay
Centrebus prides itself in offering great value fares, particularly for regular travellers, and when compared
against the prices charged on other bus services. You can buy normal single or return tickets on the bus from the driver. A day ticket (for just £3.30), a weekly ticket (for just £8), or a monthly ticket (for just £30) are also available to buy from the bus driver. You can also buy a weekly or monthly ticket before you travel, at your local Payzone retailer, and tickets for longer periods online at this website. For fares information CLICK HERE.
Embracing technology to help you
Working with Luton Council and VIX ACIS, we have now introduced "real time" bus information at many bus stops on route 10.
These display the time the next buses are due, so there will be no more waiting around in the rain. The system uses satellite tracking technology to detect the exact location of buses, and then predict to the nearest one minute when they will arrive at the bus stop. The system is also producing valuable data to allow us to modify our timetables.
Local communities
Service 10 is all about meeting the needs of local people, as well as visitors to the area. That is why we try to provide a service at the times people need it, with early buses before 6am for workers, evening buses for when the town centre shops are open late, and a Sunday service too. We do all this without a penny of local council subsidy - we rely on the support of local people travelling to keep the service running. You can find out more about the local communties using the links below.
Better links to the Rail Network
Route 10 will drop you right outside Luton Central Station, which offers frequent and direct trains to London, St Pancras International, as well as other London stations at Farringdon, City and Blackfriars, and also Gatwick Airport, Croydon and Brighton. Longer distance services run direct to Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield.
With just one ticket, which you buy from the Centrebus driver, you'll get your bus trip to Luton Central station, return train travel with First Capital Connect to London St Pancras, and your bus trip from Luton station back home (subject to timetable). Prices start from just £9.50 return (based on weekend "Super Off Peak" return). Compared to the rail fare alone, THE BUS TRIP COMES FREE!
A range of Plusbus tickets for day visitors to Luton, or regular commuters from Luton, will include travel on route 10 with your rail ticket purchase, is also available - ask at your local rail station for details. Further information about train services is available using the links below.
