We may be the orange bus company, but we’re positively bursting with green credentials. Not only is bus travel a sustainable low carbon way to travel, we make every effort to be as green as we can. All of our staff are encouraged to cycle to work. We’ve had great success with our cycle scheme, with over a fifth of our bus drivers now cycling to work. We recycle our paper at our depots and head office, and as well as making timetables available electronically we try to reduce the amount of paper we use. When purchasing new buses, we aim to buy the most environmentally friendly fleet we can. Our new ADL enviro 200 buses are some of the cleanest buses on the road.
Our customer service commitment
We love our customers. We aim to give you the best customer service we can, friendly knowledgeable drivers and a helpful customer service team to make sure you enjoy your journey with us. If problems should arise and you need to get in touch, we aim to reply within 3 working days. If the nature of your complaint means we need to investigate further, we’ll let you know and after 28 days get back to you with the findings of our investigation. Our value for money promise
We believe that bus travel should be affordable. Unlike several larger bus operators, we have no waste in our operations, we operate a well maintained fleet of over 350 buses and ensure that all our fares and tickets give you great value for money. While some larger operators may run large marketing promotions we believe the best thing for customers is to offer great value low cost fares.
Centrebus is proud to employ a diverse work force from a wide range of backgrounds. We train our drivers to the highest level to ensure that when you board the bus you are greeted by friendly professional member of staff. Our drivers are engaged in ongoing training programmes with courses involving; customer care, disability awareness and defensive driver training.
