747 Service between Uppingham and Leicester
We are pleased to advise passengers that the 747 service will continue to operate for a further 12 months due to funding being secured by Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council until the 5th January 2019.
In a bid to increase revenue on the service so that is more likely to be sustainable without any council funding, we will be increasing the fares on the service from Monday 8th January 2019 by 10%.  Fares in the Leicester City fare zone boundary will remain unchanged and the return cap on the service will increase to a maximum of £7.  A copy of the revised fare table for the service can be found by clicking on the icon below.
We will continue to work with the council and the local community as we have done so for the past 12 months to try and increase passenger numbers and revenue on the service, so that it is sustainable for us to operate.
